Vision

Melanie will continue to advance community-centered policies. A key third-term focus will be to ensure that Grandview is a leader in addressing the challenges associated with climate change. Melanie will seek to work with the administration in creating a climate action and resiliency plan.

She will work with the administration to update our zoning code and find innovative opportunities to address the housing crisis. 

She will prioritize investment in water infrastructure, especially lead service line replacement, and green infrastructure including our tree canopy, rain gardens, and wetland creation.

She will work with local and regional leaders to implement LinkUs and advance other multi-use trails in our community. 

Finally, she will work with the administration to better engage our residents in city business, including council meetings and annual budget talks, and our upcoming Parks Master Planning process in 2026.
